Downloading The Apothewell App
Before you start, select Download Now to create an account and log into it. To sign up for your account, click the Register link at the bottom of the screen. Enter your email address to Review the Terms of Use and the Privacy Statement. A verification code to ensure privacy will be sent to your email address. Tell us a little about yourself to complete the registration then proceed to loading your pill case.
Loading Your Pill Case
Place all the medications on the table in front of your pill case. Only load one medication at a time into your pill case as prescribed or directed by your doctor. If the bottle says, "Take two tablets, twice daily," load two tablets into each morning slot and two tablets into each evening slot.
Once you have loaded a medication, put it somewhere well away from the other meds still needing to be loaded. The container you use to store your meds is a perfect location. Repeat this process for all the remaining medications. Any medications that don't have enough left in the bottle to load the pill case must be put into another separate location so that you can start the refill process for them.
If you don't have enough of a medication on hand to fully load the pill case, don't load it all yet unless you have to. It is better to wait until you've gotten the refill so that you don't have to worry about remembering which days you already have meds and which days need meds.
Managing Refills
Submit refills as soon as you can. Avoid procrastinating on your refills, or you will scramble at the last minute. Once you have your new refill, add the medication to your pill case. Make sure you first use up the remaining meds from the old bottle before starting to load from the new bottle.

Hospitals have a staff of people to manage the medications for their patients, but they use technology to empower that staff. To start using the App, download it from here. Once you've setup up your account, go to the medication tab to add meds and then to the pill case tab to load your first two pill cases. It is easy, and we are here for you.
